Feature

Lymeno now supports backups and point-in-time recovery

Back up always-on databases on a schedule, and restore any point in the retention window to a new database.

Always-on databases are now backed up automatically.

  • Schedule: every 6, 12, or 24 hours (the default is 24).
  • Retention: 1 to 30 days (the default is 7). Retention also limits how far back you can restore.
  • Manual backups: choose Create backup at any time, for example before a migration.

To recover data, restore from a backup or choose Restore to a point in time and pick any moment within the retention window. A restore always creates a new database in the same region with the same plan; the original database is not changed.

The same actions are available in the API: GET and POST /v1/databases/:id/backups, PUT /v1/databases/:id/backup-schedule, and POST /v1/databases/:id/restores.
