Lymeno now supports storage autoscaling
Set a maximum size, and storage on always-on databases grows automatically before it fills up.
When you create an always-on database, set a starting storage size and a maximum. When usage reaches 80%, storage grows by the largest of 10 GB, 25%, or enough to bring usage back down to 60%. The new size is rounded up to the next 10 GB and never exceeds the maximum.
- The starting size can be from 10 GB, which every plan includes, up to 1,000 GB.
- If the maximum equals the starting size, autoscaling is off.
- Change the maximum at any time under Configure → Storage → Change limit, or set
storageMaxGbwithPATCH /v1/databases/:id/settings. - Storage grows but does not shrink.
Each increase is recorded in the audit log as Storage autoscaled. Storage beyond 10 GB is billed at $0.375 per GB-month on each node.
